Cultural Heritage and Chicano Park
Chicano Park is a historic cultural landmark beneath the Coronado Bay Bridge in Logan Heights, San Diego, born from community resistance in 1970. The bridge columns became murals that speak to our history and define our culture. For those of us who grew up here, Chicano Park is the soul of lowriding, where cars, art, and community come together. It is also where Brown Image Car Club was formed, rooted in this space and this struggle, carrying forward our inheritance.
